PREPARATION & ACTION · PLANNED

Prepare a property for a guest's arrival

Guest readiness is a specific checklist, not a vague instruction to make a place nice. Arrival timing, keys, basic supplies and the condition of the space all need clear ownership. An assistant can organise the request, but access and completion still need confirmation.

WHEN IT HELPS

A request with a purpose.

Hosts, property managers and teams coordinating an arrival at a furnished property or temporary accommodation.

THE REQUEST BRIEF

What to include.

  1. Specify the property, authorised access method, ready-by time and guest requirements.

  2. List the exact setup and restocking items, separating included supplies from purchases.

  3. Define the readiness photos and checks while excluding guest belongings or personal documents.

  4. Name who should approve an extra expense or respond to an access or maintenance issue.

REVIEW THE OUTCOME

What counts as a useful result?

A completed readiness checklist, contextual photos and explicit unresolved issues. Keys or access codes must be handled privately, outside public images and notes.

Know the limits.

Guest preparation and property access coordination are planned. ProofTerra does not currently provide housekeeping, key holding or a guarantee that accommodation is ready.

Common questions.

Is this a cleaning service?

No current service is offered here. A future preparation request must define whether cleaning is included and use an eligible provider for that scope.

Can a photo replace a readiness checklist?

No. A photo can show an arrangement, but supplies, access and functional checks require their own confirmation or a clear report that they could not be checked.
